• Rapid Career Acceleration: Compress a decade of F&A leadership experience into 2 years by owning the accounting function within a high-growth platform roll-up strategy capitalized by a brand-name PE. • Partner w Top Caliber Leaders: Be a valued partner to the cofounders, both highly pedigreed, accomplished and focused operators. Act as the company's financial steward to support the cofounders with reporting, process and feedback. • Strategic Build within a Dynamic M&A Environment: Be a hands-on process builder as the platform calibrates the playbook toward a repeatable acquisition process. Then build a team to support additional scale.
• Proven Multi-Unit Roll-Up Controller: Direct experience leading acquisition integrations end to end in a fast-paced M&A setting, ensuring finance doesn’t become a bottleneck. • Hands-On Builder with Tech Savvy: A working-Controller mindset comfortable in the trenches—handling journal entries, month-end close, and building scalable accounting infrastructure, while proactively leveraging AI and automation to optimize finance ops. • Strong Private Equity & Sponsor Reporting Experience: Fluency in multi-entity consolidations, sponsor reporting cadence, and crafting board packages with KPI scorecards, cash forecasts, and variance commentary, aligned with PE-backed board expectations.
• Own the monthly close process: Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close across multiple acquired entities to deliver timely, accurate consolidated financials. • Build and maintain scalable accounting infrastructure: Design and implement a unified Chart of Accounts and accounting policies optimized for multi-entity consolidation and rapid acquisition integration. • Lead acquisition integrations and purchase accounting: Drive opening balance sheet prep, system cut-overs from QuickBooks/manuals to ERP, and operationalize the integration playbook for new acquisitions. • Drive ERP selection and implementation: Own migration to Sage Intacct or NetSuite, managing vendors, data migration, and ensuring ERP supports high-velocity acquisition volume. • Partner with founders and stakeholders: Deliver board-level financial reporting, KPI scorecards, cash forecasting, and act as a strategic finance partner in deal screening and capital allocation.
