Clean luxury. Better for you. At Everlane, we believe luxury should be as effortless as it is conscious. We partner with ethical factories, work with premium, sustainably sourced materials, and strive to leave the industry cleaner than we found it. There's still much to do, and we're excited to grow a team of motivated humans ready for the challenge. The journey toward better continues.

The Merchandising team at Everlane are product creators, data curious, customer obsessed, and storytellers. We believe there doesn’t need to be any compromise between looking good, feeling good, and doing good. We build products in service of the greater good, for this generation and the next.

We are looking for a Merchandising Manager - Women's Sweaters, Tops & Dresses  to lead critical, growth driving product categories. Reporting to the Director of Merchandising, you will have accountability over multiple Women’s categories and will be responsible for the strategic growth and in-season management of the full division. You will partner with leadership and cross functional teams to create the strategic vision for the product, build and manage our assortment, plan for growth, and drive the business.  Our ideal candidate has strong previous experience in merchandising specifically within Women’s apparel and has demonstrated some levels of category ownership.  You have a strong understanding of and passion for trends and the apparel market. You can deliver business results while managing the assortment with cross functional partners and lead strategic initiatives for the broader team.

Your day-to-day:

  • Responsible for the development of the  Women's Sweaters, Tops & Dresses  product strategy to drive profitable growth in line with brand goals
  • Lead assortment strategy, color assortment, launch strategy, and pricing for each category
  • Leverage predictive analytics and AI-driven insights to proactively identify growth pockets and optimize in-season inventory, moving beyond reactive recapping to aggressive, data-backed commercial decision-making.
  • Build and implement channel strategy for online and retail locations
  • Partner with design, production, planning, and marketing to bring product priorities to life
  • Manage existing processes, systems, and calendars and create new ones to drive efficiency
  • Partner with Product Development and Supply Chain to chase incremental opportunities for the brand
  • Cultivate an agile, "test-and-learn" environment. Rapidly prototype category strategies based on real-time performance indicators, and pivot assortments quickly to capture emerging trends.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 5+  years merchandising experience
  • Knowledge of Women’s apparel marketplace and consumer
  • A growth mindset and a natural entrepreneurial approach to delivering results
  • Knowledge of product development, financials, and production
  • Strong leadership skills and communication skills with cross-functional partners
  • Fluency with merchandising systems, business acumen,  tools, and applications
  • Ability to lead cross functional initiatives
  • Management experience preferred
  • Experience utilizing AI/machine learning tools for demand forecasting, trend identification, or assortment optimization.
  • A proven track record of managing a P&L with an entrepreneurial "owner's mindset"—you don't just manage categories; you relentlessly optimize them for profitable growth.
