Position Summary

Evergreen is seeking a full-time Deputy Policy Director to steer our Power Sector policy work and help us achieve our mission of tackling the climate crisis while creating an equitable and affordable clean energy economy. The Deputy Policy Director will play a central role in building out our growing work to deploy clean power, primarily at the state and regional level in the near-term. This includes playing a pivotal role as a member of the Policy Team while seamlessly collaborating with the States team.

This role will shape Evergreen’s power sector policy agenda, authoring original policy products to demonstrate the roadmap for bold yet actionable power sector decarbonization and affordability policies. Additional work will include interfacing with state coalition partners and senior state officials, including governor’s offices, state agency staff, and PUC commissioners.
