What We Do

Epic's Education & Learning team provides accessible ways for current and aspiring creators to learn the real-time 3D tools and skills they need to be successful.

What You'll Do

As Director of Education & Training you will lead a team that is passionate about learning and driven to engage with educators and students--whether in an academic setting or through professional growth. You will set the strategy for growing adoption of Epic tools in educational markets and providing learning content that meets the needs of an evolving market, showcasing Epic’s latest technical capabilities. You will also engage regularly with educators and users through events and programs that tap into high-growth opportunities.

In this role, you will

  • Accelerate adoption in target markets via institutional partnerships and curriculum support
  • Oversee tool-specific bootcamps focused on career tracks and industry showcases
  • Drive a Train-the-Trainer program to scale technical instruction globally through external partners
  • Oversee regional initiatives to boost local markets, grow adoption, and increase Epic's visibility through events and speaking engagements
  • Foster engagement by collaborating with the Community team to facilitate programs, deliver content, and encourage community-led learning
  • Set strategy and vision for enabling infrastructure including tooling (Interactive Partner Directory, LMS) and certification pathways that promote and reward learning
  • Establish and track metrics that gauge effectiveness of programs and content

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years in Education, Training, or a related field, with an emphasis on technology and learning platforms
  • The ability to think critically and adapt in a fast-paced environment, leveraging the latest technologies and pedagogical approaches
  • A passion for game development and Epic’s primary industries
  • Experience leading high-performing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders in multiple business functions
  • A track record of setting effective strategy and leading successful programs that deliver measurable results
  • Experience managing a budget and building scalable services efficiently

This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA, NYC, & WA).

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
New York City Base Pay Range
$194,820 — $285,736 USD

California Base Pay Range
$194,820 — $285,736 USD

Washington Base Pay Range
$194,820 — $285,736 USD
