Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Kotlin Multiplatform applications for both iOS and Android. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver exceptional mobile experiences. As a Senior Engineer, you will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
This is a hybrid role with required onsite presence on Tue/Wed/Thu.

Compensation is market-based and reflects the cost of labor across different U.S. geographic locations. The specific salary is based on several factors, including market location, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Mobile Kotlin Multiplatform applications • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features • Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the mobile platform • Collaborate with backend developers to define and integrate APIs • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive Note: Job duties may change at any time with or without notice.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • 6+ years of experience in Mobile development with a good understanding of the Android platform as well as cross-platform development with Kotlin (KMM) • Proven track record of delivering high-quality Mobile applications to the App Store • Deep understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns • Experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern, declarative UIs • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues • Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools • Knowledge of UI/UX standards and guidelines for both iOS and Android • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Firebase • Experience with SwiftUI • Experience with Bluetooth technology and integrating Bluetooth capabilities into iOS and Android applications
