As a Junior Trader , you will have an opportunity to combine the disciplines of risk management, research and technology to operate trading strategies across multiple asset classes. You will work closely with experienced traders, software engineers and quantitative researchers to ensure optimal system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Operate automated, latency-sensitive trading systems

• Monitor system connectivity, executions, and open positions

• Adjust system parameters dynamically based on market conditions

• Manually trade to reduce risk exposure when necessary

• Identify opportunities for automation and propose improvements to trading systems and operational workflows

• Develop internal tools and utilities to improve monitoring, operational efficiency, and desk processes

• Communicate relevant market news, events, and system behaviour to team members in a timely manner

• Contribute to all aspects of trading desk operations, including position reconciliation, risk management tasks, and post-trade analysis

• Generate feedback on trading system performance through analysis of system logs, executions, and market data

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Finance, or an equivalent STEM field

• Ability to understand and reason about complex distributed trading systems

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to exercise sound judgement under pressure

• Highly motivated, dependable, and responsible

Nice to Have:

• Series 57 license

• Prior trader or trading analyst experience preferred
