• The Host is responsible for greeting guests, confirming reservations, and seating all patrons of the restaurant.
• Welcome guests to the restaurant. • Manage reservations. • Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas. • Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name. • Greet customers upon their departure. • Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options. • Maintain a clean reception area. • Cater to guests who require extra attention (children, elderly, etc.). • Assist wait staff as needed. • Perform other duties as appropriate.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old by their first day of employment. • Understanding of restaurant etiquette and front-of-house operations. • Ability to manage reservations and guest inquiries efficiently. • Demonstrated customer-service skills with a professional, friendly demeanor. • Excellent verbal communication skills; able to give and follow instructions clearly. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor dining and bar areas. • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English. • Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform tasks for extended periods (up to 5 hours at a time). • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. constantly. • Ability to visually inspect and maintain work areas for cleanliness and organization.
