Careem is building the Everything App for the greater Middle East — making it easy to move around, order food and groceries, manage payments, and more. Our purpose is simple: to simplify and improve people’s lives and build an awesome organisation that inspires.
Since 2012, Careem has enabled earnings for over 2.5 million Captains, simplified the lives of more than 70 million customers, and built a platform where the region’s best talent and entrepreneurs thrive. We operate in 70+ cities across 10 countries, from Morocco to Pakistan.

We’re now entering our next chapter — one powered by AI. We’re looking for AI talent: curious problem-solvers who know how to apply AI to build tools, automate workflows, and create real impact. Whether it’s streamlining operations, enhancing customer experience, or reimagining internal systems — we want people who can make Careem work smarter and move faster.

About the team At Careem, we are driven by the purpose of simplifying the lives of people and building an awesome organization that inspires. Today, Careem is the region’s everyday Super App, providing a host of daily services that people need to move around, order things, and transfer money in one unified smartphone app.

The CRM and Martech sits at the intersection of technology, customer lifecycle management, and creative storytelling. We are focused on delivering timely, relevant, and engaging communication to the right customers, ensuring each message aligns with their needs and preferences. As a key growth lever, we enable teams to plan and deliver the right offers, craft compelling content, and achieve scalable growth through automated, data-driven campaigns.

What you'll do

  • Drive CRM & Lifecycle Strategy: Develop, execute, and continuously optimize end-to-end customer lifecycle journeys (activation, engagement, retention, and win-back) to maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Lead Marketing Automation Initiatives: Design and scale initiatives to automate marketing operations, improving efficiency and enabling scalability across campaigns. Lead the execution and performance tracking for key central Martech projects.
  • Oversee Content & Messaging: Drive the content strategy for CRM campaigns, ensuring all communications (push, email, in-app, SMS) feature compelling, personalized, and brand-consistent copywriting.
  • Optimize Channel Performance: Monitor the performance of various marketing channels, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary interventions to optimize both technical delivery and content engagement.

What you'll need

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing analytics
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Business, or a related field. Equivalent experience is also acceptable.
  • Experience: Proven experience blending Martech, CRM lifecycle management, and content strategy. Strong background in tracking and optimizing marketing channel performance.
  • Platform Mastery: Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools and platforms (e.g., Braze, Clevertap, Moengage) and familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and multi-channel marketing analytics.
  • Content & Creative Skills: Excellent copywriting and content management skills, with a proven ability to craft engaging, customer-centric messaging that drives action.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Experience in SQL, Python, or other data processing languages. Knowledge of ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and working with large marketing datasets.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret data, run A/B tests on both technical logic and creative content, and provide actionable insights.
