Senior Software Development Engineer

Experience Range:

With at least 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Azure development and cloud-native engineering

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and scalable backend services supporting healthcare member journeys

2. Build and optimize APIs and microservices on Azure cloud platforms, ensuring high performance and security

3. Integrate conversational AI interfaces, retrieval-augmented generation solutions, and AI-powered user experiences

4. Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection controls across APIs and application services

5. Integrate enterprise healthcare APIs and data sources to enable provider search, benefits guidance, and cost estimation workflows

6. Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or OpenShift, supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation

7. Enhance observability, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization for cloud-native applications

8. Write clean, testable, and production-ready code, participate in code reviews, and implement automated testing and quality engineering practices

5. Familiarity with enterprise healthcare API standards

6. Experience with semantic search technologies

7. Avaya Contact Center integration

8. Advanced proficiency in CI/CD pipeline automation and monitoring tools

Desired Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline

2. Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or equivalent Azure certification

3. Certification in AI engineering or cloud-native development (such as Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate) is highly desirable
