Lead Engineer
Experience Range: with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Python fullstack development, including designing and implementing microservices architectures Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable Python-based applications and services
- Architect and implement robust microservices solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
- Develop, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between services and client applications
- Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering technical growth and promoting best coding practices
- Review code, enforce development standards, and drive continuous improvement across the development team
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, build, and deployment processes, ensuring reliability and speed
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring application performance, scalability, and security Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming
- Expertise with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Strong skills in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with automated testing using PyTest
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with messaging and event-streaming platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus
- Exposure to AI/ML integration, data engineering, or automation platforms
- Advanced performance tuning and application monitoring skills
- Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding standards
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Previous experience leading development teams or technical initiatives Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (BTech or MTech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
- Microsoft Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AWS Certified Developer Associate or Professional Cloud Developer (Google Cloud)
- Python Institute certifications (PCAP/PCPP)
