Join us as an Associate Platform Engineer in our Data Storage team. This role is ideal for early-career engineers eager to build a strong foundation in database systems, infrastructure automation, and distributed platforms while working alongside experienced platform engineers.

• Install, Configure, tune, and monitor database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, etc. • Assist in operating data storage systems that meet performance, reliability, security, and scalability requirements. • Actively participate in automation efforts using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or scripts to reduce manual operational work. • Monitor system health and performance, and participate in routine optimisation tasks. • Contribute to implementing and maintaining data backup and disaster recovery processes. • Collaborate actively with senior engineers and internal teams to understand infrastructure and hosting requirements. • Assist in diagnosing and resolving production issues under guidance, ensuring service stability. • Maintain and update technical documentation related to systems, processes, and runbooks.
• Between 1-3 years of professional experience. • Solid fundamentals in Linux and basic system administration. • Exposure to at least one data storage system (SQL, NoSQL, RDBMS, or distributed storage), such as • PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, ScyllaDB, MinIO, etc. • Basic understanding of data backup concepts and disaster recovery principles. • Familiarity with automation or scripting tools such as Ansible, Bash, or Terraform (hands-on experience is a plus, not mandatory). • Strong willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow in a distributed systems and infrastructure environment. • Good troubleshooting mindset with the ability to analyse issues and learn from incidents. • Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Exposure to cloud platforms or containerised environments. • Academic or personal projects involving databases, automation, or infrastructure. • Interest in scalability, reliability, and platform engineering best practices.
