Aurora Dairies is currently seeking a Senior Farm Hand to join several of our dairy farms located near Smithton. Our farms are situated between 5 and 15 minutes from Smithton, and approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from Burnie.
Our farms milk between 1,100 and 1,400 medium‑frame crossbred cows at peak. These farms are all 100% spring‑calving beginning in early to mid‑August.
Accommodation is available for the right candidate, and there may also be employment opportunities for a partner on one of our nearby farms if required.

This role will include tasks the areas of:
- Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures.
- All aspects of milking.
- Animal husbandry.
- Pasture management.
- Machinery operation.
- Repairs and maintenance.
The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:
- At least 3 years dairy industry experience is desirable for this position

- Team player.
