About this role
We are seeking 1 reliable and detail-oriented IC/QC to support our inventory control processes in a high-volume e-commerce warehouse. This position is responsible for performing daily cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and helping maintain accurate stock levels to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled and ad-hoc cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy across all warehouse zones.
• Use a computer to perform various functions, including but not limited to accessing the WMS (AS400) and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, and Teams).
• Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies, including missing, misplaced, or damaged items.
• Audit bins, racks, and pallet locations to validate SKU placement and quantity accuracy.
• Update inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in real time.
• Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring inventory issues.
• Work cross-functionally with picking, receiving, and replenishment teams to resolve stock-related issues.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation for all counts, adjustments, and investigations.
• Support physical inventory counts and audits as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, RF scanners, forklifts, reach trucks) safely and efficiently, if certified.
• Uphold safety and housekeeping standards in all work areas.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in supply chain/logistics is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in warehouse inventory control, cycle counting, or stock auditing.
• Computer literacy.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); familiarity with RF scanning devices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math skills, including ability to count and reconcile inventory quickly and accurately.
• PIT certification (forklift, reach truck, order picker). If not certified, must be willing to obtain certification.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Work Environment:
• Active warehouse environment with frequent movement, moderate noise, and exposure to varying temperatures.
• Schedule flexibility may be required, including weekends or overtime during peak seasons.
