About this role
We are looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented Commissions & Revenue Operations Analyst to take dive and drive our global sales commission cycle for a fixed 12-month sprint.
As Thunes continues to scale its global payments infrastructure, ensuring the absolute accuracy, integrity, and timely execution of our commercial incentive structures is paramount. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end commissions pipeline serving as the primary engine behind our data reconciliation, the core system administrator, and the dedicated point of contact for our global commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Commission Management
• Own the entire monthly commissions budget and quarterly commission calculation cycle for the global sales organizations.
• Extract and reconcile datasets across our core CRM and reporting tools.
• Audit performance metrics against multi-tiered commercial contracts to ensure accurate calculation of variable pay.
2. Stakeholder Queries & Conflict Resolution
• Serve as the single, dedicated point of contact for all global commission inquiries, dispute resolutions, and one-off adjustments.
• Field and triage day-to-day questions from the commercial team, providing clear, data-backed transparency into payout calculations.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll, and HR to ensure finalized commission sheets are delivered seamlessly and on time.
3. Data Governance & Process Optimization
• Investigate and resolve historical data discrepancies or system anomalies within the commercial payout log.
• Build out clear, structured documentation of our local commission verification processes to streamline future audit cadences.
Profile & Requirements
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in an analytical, operations-focused corporate environment (Revenue Operations, Finance, Sales Operations, or Commercial Audit).
• Excel Wizardry: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets is non-negotiable. You must be deeply comfortable with complex nested formulas, data modeling, array processing, and data reconciliation.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. You will be fielding questions directly from international sales leaders and must be comfortable enforcing policy with clarity and empathy.
• Mindset: A methodical, hyper-organized troubleshooter who thrives on untangling data anomalies and taking high-visibility accountability for a core process.
• Localization: Must already have full working rights to be legally employed in Spain.
• Nice to Have : Prior experience in a sales commissions role.
