Salary range: $77,866.72-$97,032.33 Placement within the range is typically based upon a review of skills, experience, and internal equity.
Hours per week: 40
Paid leave: 3 weeks vacation per year

This role leads the development and delivery of exceptional, life‑changing learning experiences within the Aviation and Construction Portfolios, collaborating with teams across SAIT as well as industry, funders, and training partners.
As the Product Manager, you bring deep domain expertise and champion the learner experience, understanding the critical importance of these sectors to Alberta’s economic ecosystem. You will oversee a suite of learning products and services, ensuring they meet customer needs, generate revenue, and achieve business objectives.
You will lead product discovery, vision and strategy, analytics, and cross‑functional coordination to build, launch, and iterate on innovative training products. You’ll work closely with teams across the Corporate Development, Applied Research and International Division responsible for delivery, instructor contracts, and learning management platforms. You will also coordinate internal and industry partners in co‑creation activities such as roundtables, guest speaking, and program engagement. You are the advocate and champion for your products, ensuring stakeholders have the tools and information they need to support and promote the programs.
You are driven by delivering high‑quality learning experiences and continuously improving them. You bring a strong understanding of your industry verticals, including talent trends, opportunities, challenges, and the skills that create pathways into emerging careers. Your work directly influences the talent pipeline that fuels Alberta’s economy.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent experience • Minimum 3 years of experience in product management or a closely related field
• Understanding of emerging markets, talent landscapes, and the future of work • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) • Experience working within agile teams and applying agile practices • Ability to foster collaboration, build trust, and inspire high performance • Ability to analyze and diagnose process issues and implement improvements • Strong data synthesis and analysis capabilities • Curiosity and a continuous‑learning mindset • Skilled in facilitation, team meetings, brainstorming, and strategy sessions • Negotiation and risk‑management capabilities • Ability to build relationships at senior or influential levels • Ability to synthesize complex or emerging concepts into cohesive strategy and vision
