About this role
• Manage projects from requirements capture through engineering, procurement, production, testing, shipment, and closeout • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle • Coordinate with sales, application engineering, design engineering, supply chain, production, quality, and logistics teams • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and monitor critical milestones • Establish realistic delivery timelines based on material availability and production capacity • Lead project kickoff meetings and maintain action item tracking • Manage customer change requests, engineering changes, and schedule impacts • Coordinate factory acceptance tests (FATs), documentation packages, and shipment readiness • Identify project risks early and drive proactive resolution • Maintain accurate project reporting, schedule tracking, and on-time delivery metrics
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field preferred • 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing, electrical equipment, or electromechanical environment • Experience managing engineered-to-order or custom manufacturing projects • Strong understanding of project scheduling, order management, and long-lead material coordination • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications • Experience collaborating with engineering, supply chain, production, and quality teams • Proficiency with ERP systems and project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer management skills • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Experience with power distribution equipment such as switchgear, PDCs, RPPs, STS, or UPS systems • PMP certification or active pursuit of certification • Familiarity with UL, NEC, ANSI, or related electrical industry standards • Experience coordinating FATs and customer witness testing • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience
