As Compliance Specialist you will be the primary liaison with supervisory authorities, coordinate audits and regulatory communications, and advise on compliance risks related to new products, services and operational processes. You will support regulatory reporting, contract reviews, and the development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures, while promoting a strong culture of ethical behaviour across the organisation. 

• Monitor changes in laws and regulations applicable to a National Payment Institution (e.g., Payment Services Act, KNF guidelines, EBA Guidelines, PSD2, DORA). • Analyse regulations and prepare materials and recommendations for the Compliance Officer / Compliance Lead (or senior compliance management). • Support operational and product teams in interpreting regulations and applying compliance requirements in daily operations. • Participate in regulatory reporting (verify completeness, provide advisory support and reconciliations). • Review and advise on new products, services and process changes for regulatory compliance. • Create, update and maintain compliance policies, procedures and guidelines. • Identify and manage potential non-compliance risks; report issues with recommended remediation actions. • Prepare materials and summaries for audits, inspections and internal inquiries; coordinate audits and regulatory communications. • Support contract review and assist legal/operational teams with compliance-related documentation. • Deliver and participate in compliance training and educational activities. • Maintain ongoing collaboration with operational, product and legal teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
• 2+ years’ experience in compliance or legal roles within a financial institution. • Strong knowledge of relevant financial regulations, familiarity with PSD2 and DORA. • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and consistency in execution. • Strong interpersonal and mediation skills with ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholder relationships. • Proactive and decisive, ability to prioritise and allocate resources effectively. • Fluent professional English and Polish. • Proficient with MS Office. • Commitment to promoting ethical behaviour and a positive compliance culture. • Degree in law, compliance, finance or related field preferred.
