ABOUT THE ROLE
Pave Bank is hiring a Business Analyst to support the Product team in analysing business needs, documenting requirements, improving processes, and supporting the delivery of banking products, internal tools, and operational workflows.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work at the intersection of product, banking operations, compliance, payments, and technology in a regulated banking environment.
In this role, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, Compliance, and other internal teams to understand business needs, analyse workflows, define requirements, and support product delivery from discovery through implementation and testing.
We are looking for someone who is structured, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate should already have experience in a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, QA, Operations Analyst, or similar role, and be able to take ownership of requirements, documentation, and process analysis.
Experience in fintech, banking, payments, compliance, operations, or digital products will be highly valued.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather, analyse, and document business and product requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Analyse current processes and identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with Engineering and QA to clarify requirements and validate implementation.
- Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Commercial, and other stakeholders on process-heavy initiatives.
- Maintain product documentation, process flows, and update notes where needed.
- Help ensure requirements are clearly understood across both business and technical teams.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, QA Analyst, Operations Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand complex workflows and break them down clearly.
- Ability to write clear, structured, and practical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset.
- Ability to work with both business and technical teams.
- Confidence to ask the right questions, clarify requirements, and challenge unclear processes.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple topics at the same time.
- Interest in banking, fintech, payments, compliance, or digital products.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in fintech, banking, payments, AML/KYC, compliance, or regulated financial services.
- Understanding of APIs, payment flows, digital banking products, or internal operational systems.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle.
