A Master Planner plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing an organization's production planning to ensure efficient use of resources and meet business objectives. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications for a Master Planner:
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement master production schedules (MPS) to meet customer demands and company objectives.
• Coordinate with various departments (sales, production, purchasing) to forecast and plan production.
• Analyze and monitor demand and supply trends , making necessary adjustments to the plan.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the production process.
• Optimize resource allocation to ensure maximum efficiency and minimum downtime.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and reduce excess.
• Prepare and present regular reports on the performance of the master plan.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
• Create, Roll Out & Maintain SOP (Standard Operating Processes ) initiative for the Planning department.
• Gather and coordinate KPI metrics for Weekly/Monthly meetings.
What we're looking for
• Education : Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience : 5+ years of experience in production planning, inventory management, or a related field.
• Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze forecast demand and manage data, proficiency in ERP systems, excellent communication and coordination abilities, proficiency in Excel, and attention to detail.
Position Pay Range $73,500 — $85,000 USD What OBE Offers You
