About this role
Lead projects that matter. Deliver technology that helps governments and regulators serve their communities more effectively.
At Objective, we're trusted by government and regulated organisations across Australia and New Zealand to deliver software that powers critical services. As demand for our solutions continues to grow, we're looking for a Project Manager to join our Wellington team and help deliver complex SaaS and enterprise software projects for some of New Zealand's most important organisations.
This is an opportunity for a capable Project Manager who enjoys working directly with customers, influencing outcomes, and seeing projects through from inception to successful delivery. You'll join a highly collaborative team and be mentored by experienced Senior Project Managers while taking ownership of your own portfolio of projects.
The role reports to the Services Director and does not have any people management responsibility.
If you do not tick every box, do not let that stop you. We value potential, learning agility, coachability and diverse perspectives just as much as experience, and we encourage you to apply.
At Objective, we recognise and celebrate our diverse team as pivotal to our strong employee engagement and our high-performing culture, underpinned by Our Values.
We are an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate based on any protected characteristics or on any other basis prohibited by applicable laws in the regions where we operate.
To ensure a positive experience, please inform our Talent Team of any adjustments or accommodations you may require during the recruitment process, so we can support you effectively.
You'll lead multiple software implementation and enhancement projects, partnering with customers to ensure successful outcomes, strong stakeholder engagement, and projects delivered on time and on budget. Your responsibilities will include: • • Managing end-to-end delivery of enterprise software and SaaS projects. • Leading project planning, governance, risk management and forecasting. • Building trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders. • Coordinating consultants, technical teams and customer resources. • Driving project outcomes from discovery and implementation through to adoption and handover. • Ensuring customers realise measurable business value from their investment in Objective solutions.
We're looking for a Project Manager who combines strong delivery capability with excellent stakeholder management skills. You'll likely have: • Experience delivering software, technology or SaaS implementation projects. • Strong project planning and commercial management skills. • Experience working with customers in a consulting, professional services or vendor environment. • Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and software development projects. • Microsoft Project experience. • PRINCE2, PMBOK or similar project management qualifications (desirable). • The confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels and navigate competing priorities.
At Objective, you'll work on projects that genuinely make a difference while enjoying the benefits of a stable, growing SaaS business. You'll enjoy: • Meaningful work that supports government and regulated industries. • A collaborative and supportive team environment. • Access to experienced mentors and project delivery leaders. • Flexibility and a healthy work-life balance. • Opportunities to grow your career as our business continues to expand across ANZ. • A culture built on integrity, expertise, teamwork and continuous improvement.
