If you're looking for a place where your ideas matter, where innovation is celebrated, and where you can help shape a brighter financial future, join us at Netwealth.
The Opportunity
As our product function continues to evolve we’re looking for a Head of Digital Product to help shape what comes next.
This role sits at the heart of our platform, with responsibilities across key domains and working alongside Engineering and Design leaders to bring greater clarity, alignment and accountability to how we deliver value across these areas.
There’s already a strong foundation in place. What this role does is build on that, connecting the dots across teams, strengthening product thinking, and evolving how we operate so that teams are aligned to clear outcomes, supported by meaningful measures of success.
You’ll define and articulate a clear product vision and multi-year strategy for your portfolio, ensuring teams understand where they’re heading, why it matters, and how success is measured. You’ll also play a key role in shaping how we structure our product teams over time, with a focus on ownership, accountability and end-to-end delivery.
This is a leadership role with broad impact. Less about day-to-day product management, and more about setting direction, building capability, and creating the conditions for high-performing product teams to succeed.
What you’ll do:
- Define and lead the product strategy across a complex and business-critical portfolio
- Evolve team structures and ways of working to support a product-led operating model
- Bring clarity to product vision, priorities and success measures across multiple teams
- Partner closely with Engineering and Design to ensure alignment and quality of delivery
- Use data, insights and market context to inform strategic decisions and direction
- Assess and uplift product capability across the team, building for the future with care and intent
- Ensure teams are focused on delivering meaningful customer and business outcomes
About you
You’re an experienced product leader who has built your career in genuinely product-led, SaaS environments where product teams own outcomes, not just delivery, and where strategy, customer value and metrics are tightly connected.
You bring a clear point of view on where product management is heading. How operating models are evolving, how technology (including AI) is shaping the function, and what great looks like in modern software product organisations.
Just as important, you’re someone who can bring others on the journey. You know how to cut through complexity, tell a clear story, and create alignment across teams with different perspectives.
You’re thoughtful in how you lead, able to assess performance and capability with both rigour and empathy, and comfortable making decisions that set teams up for long-term success.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading product functions in a product-led SaaS organisation
- A strong understanding of environments where product, design and engineering operate as a true partnership, with clear ownership of outcomes
- Strategic capability, with the ability to define clear direction and long-term product vision
- A deep interest in how product management is evolving, particularly through emerging technologies such as AI
- Experience building and uplifting product capability, including assessing team structure, roles and future needs
- The ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives for different audiences
- Strong collaboration skills, working effectively across Product, Engineering and Design
- A customer and outcome-led mindset, with a focus on measurable impact
Experience in financial services or wealth management is helpful, but not essential.
