Position Overview
NEOWIZ is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Content & Community Marketing Manager (China) to drive our regional player ecosystem and brand presence in the Chinese market. In this role, you will design and execute data-driven community operation strategies based on deep insights into Chinese user behavior, platform cultures, and emerging market trends, ensuring our gaming titles resonate powerfully with the target audience from launch through live service.
Taking full ownership of our regional footprint, you will manage official Chinese SNS and gaming platforms—including Bilibili, Weibo, Xiaoheihe, Rednote, QQ groups, and TapTap—by planning highly localized content, interactive events, and UGC activation programs. You will serve as a vital bridge between players and leadership by monitoring VOC, managing sentiment risks, and translating community insights into actionable user experience improvements for our development teams.
To amplify market reach, you will cultivate strategic partnerships with local creators and lead high-impact online/offline engagement programs like exhibitions and pop-up events. This role requires exceptional cross-functional leadership, collaborating closely with internal marketing, publishing, localization, CS, and external agency partners to elevate player retention and deliver an unparalleled community experience.

China Community Strategy Development & Operations Management • Develop and execute community operation plans based on Chinese user behavior, platform culture, and game service priorities. • Analyze target audiences for each game and plan communication directions tailored to the China market. • Establish and execute platform-specific operational strategies and content directions. • Identify operational improvement opportunities through analysis of user feedback, community trends, and market issues. • Manage community operation schedules, communication flows, and operational processes. China Community Channel Operations & Content Planning • Operate and manage official China SNS/community channels such as Bilibili, Weibo, Xiaoheihe, Rednote, QQ groups, TapTap, and other relevant platforms. • Plan and execute localized content aligned with game updates, seasonal topics, and campaign schedules. • Operate platform-specific content including videos, short-form content, community posts, and fan communications. • Plan and manage community events and engagement programs to increase user participation. • Operate UGC (User-Generated Content) and fan community activation programs. User Communication & VOC Management • Monitor and analyze user feedback (VOC), issues, and community sentiment across China communities. • Share community insights and user feedback internally. • Escalate and support the handling of community issues, sentiment risks, and user communication matters. • Maintain a stable and positive community environment. Community Partnership & User Program Operations • Build and manage partnerships with local Chinese creators, community operators, and fan groups. • Plan and operate community-linked events, fan campaigns, and user engagement programs. • Plan and manage online/offline user engagement programs including exhibitions, pop-up events, and community activities. • Strengthen user loyalty through merchandise and community reward program planning. Cross-functional Collaboration • Collaborate with marketing, publishing, localization, CS, and external partners to support community operations. • Propose user experience improvement directions based on game and community response analysis.
• Strong understanding of the China gaming market, gaming communities, and platform culture. • Minimum 3 years of experience in community/SNS operations within the gaming, content, entertainment, or related industries. • Experience operating major China platforms such as Bilibili, Weibo, Xiaoheihe, Rednote, and QQ. • Experience developing community operation strategies and planning/executing content operations. • Experience in user communication, VOC management, and community issue response. • Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners. • Strong passion for games and deep understanding of gaming and community culture.
• Experience in China game publishing or global game service operations. • Existing network with local Chinese creators, influencers, and gaming communities. • Experience operating offline events in China such as exhibitions, pop-up stores, and user events. • Experience managing UGC (User-Generated Content) campaigns and fan community activation programs. • Experience planning and operating video, short-form, and SNS content. • Understanding of China gaming regulations and platform operation environments. • Business-level communication skills in English or Korean preferred.
