Join us as a (Senior) Product Manager (all genders) in our Payment team (parental leave cover for 18 months) and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!
At MOIA, we   build   technology   that   enables   cities  and  mobility   operators   to   run   mobility   services   safely ,  efficiently , and at  scale .  Our   mission   is   to   accelerate   the  shift  toward   sustainable ,  shared   autonomous   mobility   -  supported   by  flexible and  scalable   payment   solutions   for   both  end  users  and B2B  partners .
As a (Senior) Product Manager, you’ll be part of the Payment team, responsible for shaping how money flows through MOIA’s mobility ecosystem - evolving from a pure ridepooling operator to a technology and Autonomous Mobility (AD) focused Mobility-as-a-Service software provider.
We are a cross-functional team of backend engineers, app developers, quality specialists and an agile coach, working together to build reliable and scalable payment solutions.
Having successfully delivered and operated payment solutions for millions of rides for our Hamburg services, we are now entering the next phase:  Expanding our platform to support MOIA’s MaaS offering and Autonomous Driving services across multiple international markets and across different B2B/B2G partners . This includes addressing new challenges such as multi-tenant payment architectures, partner integrations, regulatory complexity, and new monetization models.
As a (Senior) Product Manager, you will continue to evolve our payment platform within a B2B / B2B2G context, scaling existing capabilities and adapting them to diverse partner and market requirements. You will treat payments as a product in its own right - balancing user experience, partner needs, and commercial viability.
This is a key moment to join, bringing your expertise and enthusiasm for payment solutions, and contributing to the continued success of innovative urban mobility solutions.
What you will do

• Build a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities of multi-tenant payment systems , enabling cities, partners, and operators to run mobility services for their users.

• Own MOIA’s payment domain end-to-end , defining and executing a roadmap that turns company strategy into a scalable and competitive payment product for the future of  an AD  mobility provide r .

• Understand and translate the ne eds of  B2B and B2G clients   into robust payment solutions by actively engaging with partners -  facilitating  workshops, aligning on requirements, and guiding them through integrations that enable them to launch and operate MOIA’s white-labelled mobility services .

• Make trade-offs between standardisation and partner-specific   needs in a multi-tenant environment .

• Prepare and prioritize features  as epics and stories for refinement with your team while respecting architectural and technical constraints .

• Collaborate closely with the Technical Lead and Agile Coach to ensure product quality, delivery reliability, and a healthy team dynamic.

• Create  clarity  and  visibility   across   domain   leadership  and  partner   teams  (e.g.  Booking and Accounting)  on  goals , trade-offs,  risks , and  dependencies.

• Own and manage relationships  with external payment providers (e.g. Adyen), balancing partner capabilities, cost s , risk, and  scalabilit y.

• Leverage AI in day-to-day product work   to improve processes, decision-making, and product capabilities, and actively contribute to evolving AI practices within the Product Community.

• Represent the Payment team within the Product Community , sharing learnings from building complex, platform-oriented payment systems and contributing to overall product excellence.
