A growing organization in the aerospace and defense industry is seeking a motivated Supplier Development Engineer to support supplier performance, quality, and process improvement initiatives. • Support supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery expectations are met • Assist in resolving supplier technical and manufacturing issues • Identify and help qualify new suppliers for hard-to-source components • Analyze supplier processes and support continuous improvement initiatives • Participate in PFMEA, risk assessments, and corrective action efforts • Assist with supplier audits and ensure compliance with quality standards • Review incoming materials to verify quality and specifications • Maintain documentation for supplier performance, audits, and process changes • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues and improve outcomes
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field • 1–5+ years of experience in manufacturing, supplier quality, or engineering (aerospace, defense, or automotive industries preferred) • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies • Familiarity with tools such as PFMEA, process flow diagrams, and root cause analysis is a plus • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and with external suppliers • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a technical environment
