As a Homes Technician, you’ll be the go-to resource for keeping our community in top shape. From hands-on home repairs to maintaining common areas and amenities, you’ll make a visible, tangible difference in the lives of the people who call our community home. You’ll work alongside a supportive team and report directly to the Community Manager.

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to preserve and improve the physical condition of homes and buildings • Handle general plumbing repairs — water heater issues, leaking faucets, toilet components, and more • Complete carpentry tasks such as replacing door locks, hanging doors, tightening cabinet hardware, and installing blinds • Address basic electrical needs including replacing receptacles and identifying breaker and main cutoffs
• Inspect and maintain common area amenities — including laundry facilities, playgrounds, and recreational equipment — to ensure they’re safe and fully operational • Maintain vacant sites, including strap-downs and general site readiness
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the safe operation of vehicles and machinery • Maintain clear, legible written records and reporting for completed work • Be available for on-call support outside regular business hours when needed
• Hands-on knowledge of general plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs • A team-first attitude with a strong work ethic and great interpersonal skills • Strong problem-solving ability and sharp attention to detail • Excellent customer service and communication skills — you’ll interact with residents regularly • Sound judgment and the confidence to make good decisions in the field • Ability to work outdoors year-round and lift up to 50 pounds • Basic computer skills, including email • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Ability to pass a criminal background check
