• Manage financial coordination of grants and contracts from award through closeout • Ensure compliance with funder requirements, GAAP standards, and internal policies • Prepare and review grant billings, including cost-reimbursement and flat-rate invoices • Perform monthly grant revenue recognition, journal entries, and reconciliations • Monitor grant-related accounts receivable and resolve discrepancies • Develop and maintain budget-to-actual reporting and financial analyses • Coordinate payroll and non-payroll allocations for assigned grants • Support grant audits, funder reviews, and compliance monitoring activities • Assist with annual audit preparation and financial reporting • Collaborate with program teams on budgeting, grant amendments, and financial planning • Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced financial controls
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field • 2–4 years of nonprofit grant accounting experience • Strong knowledge of GAAP, grant accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting • Experience with accounting systems; Financial Edge experience preferred • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
