At Flipdish, we’re turning the tables in favour of independent restaurant and takeaway owners by offering them powerful, simple-to-use tech solutions backed by real human support. Everything we do is designed to make running a restaurant satisfyingly simple in a world that’s anything but.
About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Web Developer to take ownership of Flipdish.com —our corporate website and a key brand asset. You’ll develop, maintain, and optimise the site to ensure it delivers a best-in-class user experience, performance, and scalability.
Craft CMS experience is highly desirable, along with a strong eye for design detail, clear communication, and comfort working in sprint cycles. You’ll partner closely with marketing, design, and other business stakeholders to ensure Flipdish.com consistently reflects our brand and supports our global growth.
Note: This role requires strong English communication skills (written and verbal), as English is our primary working language.
What you’ll own

• Own the day-to-day development, maintenance, and optimisation of Flipdish.com , ensuring updates, security, uptime, and stability.

• Manage hosting and infrastructure needs, including server setup, Cloudflare, domains, SSL certificates, and backups.

• Build and update landing pages using Twig templates and SCSS , with high attention to design detail and brand consistency.

• Improve website speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall performance (Core Web Vitals mindset).

• Implement and maintain solid technical SEO foundations (meta tags, redirects, sitemaps, structured data).

• Manage website forms and integrations with internal tools (e.g., CRM, analytics, marketing platforms), ensuring reliable tracking and data flow.

• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and leadership to scope work clearly and deliver updates on time.

• Run thorough QA and testing before deployments to reduce regressions and maintain quality.

• Challenge poor decisions and propose better ways of working. Constructive challenge is a responsibility - prioritising harmony over truth or progress is a failure of responsibility.

What success looks like

• Flipdish.com remains fast, stable, secure, and “always on brand” as the business scales.

• Landing pages and site updates ship smoothly within sprint cycles, with fewer last-minute issues and rollbacks.

• Website performance and mobile experience improve over time through proactive monitoring and optimisation.

• Technical SEO hygiene is consistently strong (clean redirects, accurate metadata, correct sitemaps/structured data).

• Forms and integrations work reliably, supporting marketing and business workflows without tracking gaps.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have 3–5 years of experience in web development.

• Have experience with Craft CMS (highly desirable) or are motivated to learn quickly (resources provided).

• Are strong in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and Twig templates .

• Are comfortable with hosting fundamentals, including DNS, Cloudflare, and SSL management.

• Understand performance optimisation and responsive design best practices.

• Have a working knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals.

• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

• Can work 1 PM – 9 PM PKT to align with key business stakeholders.

• Are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to shipping high-quality work.

The following would help you stand out.

• Craft CMS plugin/module experience, or strong CMS theming experience in another system.

• Strong UI/UX instincts and experience improving interfaces in line with brand guidelines.

• Experience with analytics/tracking, marketing tooling, and CRM integrations.

• Experience with structured release processes (staging/production workflows, testing discipline, monitoring).

Our Culture
At Flipdish, we’re on the side of independent restaurant and takeaway owners, running busy operations on tight margins with rising costs, staffing challenges, and an increasingly demanding customer base. Our job is to make their lives easier with technology that’s powerful, satisfyingly simple, and backed by real human support.
We’re an AI-first company, and we use it to help our customers get better outcomes, faster ordering, smarter marketing, and smoother operations, so owners and teams can spend more time on what matters.
Inside the company, we value ownership and clarity, with a friendly, people-led culture behind it. We trust our people to help shape what kind of employer Flipdish is, not just follow a script. Transparency is huge for us: we listen to each other, and create the space for people to grow (with balance, not burnout). We’re focused on impact and team energy, not “being seen”.
