As CSIT is an agency under the Ministry of Defence (Singapore), only Singapore Citizens will be considered.
• Engineer scalable and secure collaboration platforms (chat, conferencing, file share, workflow automation) to ensure high performance, reliability and usability. • Apply DevOps practices (e.g. CI/CD) to automate deployments and workflows, improving efficiency, product quality and on-boarding speed. • Build analytics pipelines and observability dashboards to monitor the platform health, applying SRE principles to improve uptime and responsiveness. • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance the collaboration experience, drive feature enhancements, and explore emerging technologies like AI and automation.
• Background in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience. • Experience with programming languages (Python, Powershell, or similar) and familiarity with applying DevOps/SRE practices. • Exposure to collaboration platforms and tools (e.g. MS Teams, Slack, Zoom). • Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to explore new tools. • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. • Knowledge or exposure to automation and observability platforms and tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Terraform). • Internship or project experience with collaboration or conferencing platforms • Participation in hackathons, open-source projects, or personal automation projects.
• First-hand experience in building enterprise-grade collaboration systems. • Mentorship, structured training and conferences, and career development support. • Clear paths into roles like Senior Platform Engineer, Collaboration Architect, or SRE Lead. • Ownership of collaboration domains (e.g. bots, workflows, integrations). • Exposure to related domains (cybersecurity, UX, infrastructure) for holistic growth.
