About this role
• Hire and manage a team of high-performing QEC researchers and software engineers. • Contribute 30-50% of your time towards hands-on QEC/SW projects • Maintain ongoing communication with other technical managers, project leaders, and team members to ensure work is allocated effectively and efficiently • Help to provide logistical support to create the infrastructure for the team to accomplish their goals.
• PhD in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse team of experimental physicists, hardware, and software engineers • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a changing work environment • Ability to hire the best talent from academia and industry • Experience with quantum information theory and quantum error correction • Familiarity with Python and at least one compiled language such as C, C++, or Rust • Strong understanding of best practices for software development
